political commitment

political commitment

Even though there are usually more important issues in politics than equality, we see it as our responsibility to draw attention to various issues that, in our view, not only lead away from belief in the God of Abraham, but also discriminate against people with alternatives views or beliefs other than Christianity, Islam or Judaism.

We have used the following options to make ourselves politically strong:

  • Letters to schools asking for neutral festivities, since everyone can celebrate the Christian/pagan festivals (Christmas, Easter, Carnival, St. Nicholas, Halloween, ...) at home and there is no school mandate to do so. Neutral festivals would be, for example: summer festival, half-year festival, cultural festival (where every child and their family has the opportunity to get to know different cultures), debut festival (to welcome new students), ... But also adapting educational materials and stories with witches , dwarves and other mythical creatures from the repertoire and not to tell any more lies to children.
  • Letters to kindergartens asking for neutral festivities, since everyone can celebrate the Christian/pagan festivals (Christmas, Easter, Carnival, St. Nicholas, Halloween, ...) at home and there is no school mandate to do so. Neutral festivals would be, for example: summer festival, winter annual festival, cultural festival (where every child and their family has the opportunity to get to know different cultures), debut festival (to welcome new children), ... But also adapting game materials and stories and games or to remove toys with witches, dwarves and other mythical creatures from the repertoire and not to tell children any more lies.
  • Letters to the state ministries of education with the same requests as to the schools.
  • Petitions to the Bundestag various requests, such as moving the German embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, the true capital of Israel.
  • Petitions to the European Parliament with various requests, such as adapting the names of the days of the week to the naming of the simple counting of the days (first day, second day, third day, ...) instead of the naming of pagan gods (Sonntag/Sunday for the sun god, Saturday/Saturday for the Saturn god, Friday/Friday for Freya the Nordic Vanen goddess, ...)
  • Distribution of information material such as flyers about gender education for children or against abortion of embryos directly into the mailboxes of those responsible or those affected.
